KRISTIAN SCRASE
Kristian works as a Performance Analyst at Network Housing Group in North West London. As Treasurer of Funsani, Kristian leverages his knowledge and experience of the charity sector to support the rest of the board and manage the accounts.

SECRETARY
NTIMA VAN DER BOOM
Ntima is a technology consultant based in London. As secretary of Funsani, Ntima is responsible for the smooth functioning of the Management Committee and ensuring meetings are effectively organised and minuted. Ntima has also been instrumental in the orginisation of Zambia TwentyTeen trips.

FUNDRAISING MANAGER
KATIE ROUND
Katie became a board member in January 2016 having been introduced to Funsani by Jos and currently works in London as a technology consultant. With previous experience working with charities in Tanzania, in this new role Katie coordinates and provides focus for all of Funsani's fundaraising efforts.

COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
DOMINIQUE NIELSEN
Dominique has been involved in Funsani from the age of 10, raising money through fundraising events. She works as in innovation consultant in London and since 2020 has taken on a larger role in the charity. She ensures the wider public are aware of the incredible work going on within Funsani and how it has changed the lives of many children.

MANAGER AT THE HOME
WILSON CHILONGOSHI
Wilson, or Uncle Willy as he is known by the children, has devoted his life to caring for the children at the Home since it opened in 2002.
In January 2015, he became the Assistant Manager at the Home and as of January 2016 takes responsiblility for the day to day runnimg of the home.

PRINCIPAL CARER
GRACE MUKAKA
Affectionately known as Aunty Grace, has been the Principal Carer at the home since 2002, with years of experience in housekeeping and child care. The children receive equal care and devotion from Grace as they do Wilson.
Meal times are coordinated and chores are carried out dutifully under Grace's careful guidance.

TRUSTEE
DAVID ELWELL
David is a retired doctor. He has been involved with Funsani since visiting the Home in 2018. He became a trustee in February 2020.

TRUSTEE
VIZOR ONAH
Having been inspired by the success stories of the children touched by the work of the charity, Vizor is excited to support the work of the team. As a trustee of Funsani he hopes to provide a valuable voice in moving Funsani forward.

PATRON
APAKOMBWELE CHISUSE
Apakombwele is co-Founder of Funsani and a life-long patron of the charity. Growing up in Zambia and through her work as a doctor in the UK, Apakombwele has personally and professionally experienced the devastation brought on by the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

PATRON
GEOFFREY LOWE
Geoff is an auditor at the British Assessment Bureau. Originally from South Africa, Geoff has witnessed at close range the damage caused by the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Sub-Saharan Africa.

REV. JULIAN MACRO
Julian, who has been an active supporter of the charity since it was founded, is a Patron of Funsani and a retired minister of the United Reformed Church.
WHO WE ARE

CHAIRPERSON
KWILOLE CHISUSE
Born in Zambia, Kwilole has personally experienced the loss of loved ones through HIV/AIDS. As Chairperson of Funsani, Kwilole shows boundless energy and commitment coordinating the team and liaising with the managers of the orphanage in Zambia. Kwilole lives in Oxfor and works for Ashfield Healthcare Communications.

DEPUTY CHAIRPERSON
JOS VAN DER BOOM
Jos has been involved in fundraising for Funsani since the charity was founded in 2002. As Deputy Chairperson, Jos supports the Chairperson to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the charity.
